Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, these air fryer potato wedges are a quick and flavorful side dish. Perfectly seasoned and ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound russet potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Rinse the potatoes and cut them in half, then slice each half into four thick wedges. Place the wedges in a bowl.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes. Add baking soda, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat evenly.
  4. Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 15 minutes, flipping or shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes and pat dry before seasoning.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste or add paprika for extra flavor.
  • Serve with ketchup, remoulade, or garlic aioli for dipping.
