Ingredients
1 pound russet potatoes
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
Rinse the potatoes and cut them in half, then slice each half into four thick wedges. Place the wedges in a bowl.
Drizzle olive oil over the potatoes. Add baking soda, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat evenly.
Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 15 minutes, flipping or shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For extra crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes and pat dry before seasoning.
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure even cooking.
Adjust seasoning to taste or add paprika for extra flavor.
Serve with ketchup, remoulade, or garlic aioli for dipping.
