Bubbly Witches Brew is a fun, fizzy Halloween punch made with lime sherbet, chilled ginger ale, pineapple juice, and fresh lime juice. This spooky green party drink is sweet, tangy, and perfect for Halloween celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 quart lime sherbet
  • 2 liter bottle ginger ale, chilled (zero-sugar ginger ale can be used)
  • 46 oz can unsweetened pineapple juice, chilled (zero-sugar pineapple juice can also be used)
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Optional: A few drops of green food coloring for added effect
  • Optional: Plastic spooky eyeballs for decoration
  • Optional: Dry ice for a smoky, bubbling effect

Instructions

  1. Pour the chilled ginger ale, pineapple juice, and freshly squeezed lime juice into a large punch bowl. Add a few drops of green food coloring if desired, and gently stir to combine.
  2. Add the lime sherbet to the punch bowl and stir gently until partially blended. The sherbet will create a frothy, bubbly texture.
  3. Decorate with spooky plastic eyeballs for a festive Halloween presentation, keeping them out of individual drinks.
  4. For a dramatic smoky effect, use dry ice with appropriate safety precautions. Never serve the punch while solid dry ice remains in the beverage.
  5. Serve immediately while cold, fizzy, and frothy.

Notes

  • Zero-sugar ginger ale can be substituted for regular ginger ale to reduce the sugar content.
  • Use unsweetened or a suitable reduced-sugar pineapple juice alternative to adjust the sweetness.
  • For the best flavor and fizz, chill the ginger ale and pineapple juice before preparing the punch.
  • Add the lime sherbet just before serving to create the signature frothy, bubbly appearance.
  • A few drops of green food coloring can enhance the spooky witch’s brew appearance.
  • Plastic eyeballs can be found at craft stores and party supply retailers. Use them only as decorations and keep them away from children who might mistake them for edible garnishes.
  • Dry ice can cause severe cold burns and must never be swallowed. For the safest smoky presentation, use a separate dry ice chamber that cannot spill into the drink.
  • This punch is best served immediately. Leftovers can be refrigerated in a covered container for up to 24 hours, although the carbonation and frothy texture will diminish.
