Bubbly Witches Brew is a fun, fizzy Halloween punch made with lime sherbet, ginger ale, pineapple juice, and fresh lime juice. This spooky green party drink is sweet, tangy, and perfect for Halloween celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 quart lime sherbet
  • 1 (2-liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled (zero-sugar ginger ale works well)
  • 1 (46-ounce) can unsweetened pineapple juice, chilled (zero-sugar pineapple juice may also be used)
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Optional: A few drops of green food coloring
  • Optional: Plastic spooky eyeballs for decoration
  • Optional: Dry ice for a smoky Halloween effect (see safety notes)

Instructions

  1. Pour the chilled ginger ale, pineapple juice, and freshly squeezed lime juice into a large punch bowl.
  2. Add a few drops of green food coloring, if desired, and gently stir to combine.
  3. Scoop the lime sherbet into the punch bowl and stir gently until partially blended. The sherbet will create a frothy, bubbly surface.
  4. Decorate the outside of the punch bowl with spooky plastic eyeballs for a festive Halloween appearance.
  5. For a dramatic smoky effect, use dry ice in a separate, secure compartment that prevents it from contacting the punch or guests. Never place loose dry ice directly into drinks.
  6. Serve immediately while the punch is cold, fizzy, and frothy.

Notes

  • For a lower-sugar option, use zero-sugar ginger ale and reduced-sugar pineapple juice, if available.
  • Chill the ginger ale and pineapple juice thoroughly before preparing the punch for the best flavor and fizz.
  • Add the lime sherbet just before serving to maintain the frothy, bubbly texture.
  • For a brighter green color, add a few drops of green food coloring until the desired shade is reached.
  • Dry ice safety: Never allow dry ice to come into direct contact with beverages served to guests. Use a separate, secure container for the fog effect, handle dry ice with insulated gloves, and ensure proper ventilation.
  • Plastic eyeballs are decorative only and should be kept out of individual drinks to prevent choking hazards.
  • Store leftover punch covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, although the carbonation and sherbet foam will gradually disappear.
  • This nonalcoholic Halloween punch is ideal for parties, trick-or-treat gatherings, and spooky celebrations.
