This Caesar Pasta Salad is a delicious twist on the classic Caesar salad, combining tender pasta with crisp romaine lettuce, juicy cherry tomatoes, crunchy croutons, Parmesan cheese, and a creamy Caesar dressing. Perfect for picnics, potlucks, or an easy dinner side.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces rotini pasta
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cups halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup Caesar-flavored croutons
  • 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Cook the rotini pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Let it cool completely.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together Caesar dressing, lemon juice, and black pepper.
  3. Add the cooled pasta to the dressing and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and green onions.
  5. Serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to serve. If making ahead, add croutons just before serving to maintain crunchiness.

Notes

  • If making ahead, keep the croutons separate until serving to avoid sogginess.
  • Chill pasta completely before mixing with other ingredients for best texture.
  • You can add grilled chicken or bacon for extra protein.
