A creamy, sweet grape salad made with red and green grapes folded into a rich cream cheese dressing and topped with brown sugar and crunchy nuts. Perfect as a side dish or dessert for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds seedless red grapes
  • 2 pounds seedless green grapes
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Wash the grapes, remove all stems, and dry completely.
  2. Optional: Toast the nuts in a 350°F oven for 7–10 minutes, then let cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add the sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
  5. Gently fold the grapes into the cream cheese mixture until evenly coated.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours before serving.
  7. Just before serving, sprinkle the brown sugar and chopped pecans or walnuts over the top. Do not mix.

Notes

  • For the best texture, make sure the grapes are completely dry before mixing.
  • Toasted nuts add extra flavor and crunch.
  • Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Serve chilled as a side dish, potluck favorite, or dessert salad.
