These festive Christmas Corn Flake Wreaths are a classic no-bake holiday treat made with crispy corn flakes and gooey marshmallows. They’re fun to make, easy to decorate, and perfect for holiday parties, gifting, or cookie exchanges.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 10 oz marshmallows
  • 6 cups corn flakes cereal
  • Green food coloring
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Red cinnamon candies or red candy-coated chocolates, for decoration
  • White sprinkles or nonpareils (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper or wax paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  3. Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the green food coloring and vanilla extract, if using.
  5. Gently fold in the corn flakes until evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  6. Lightly grease your hands with butter or cooking spray.
  7. Scoop portions of the mixture and shape each into a small wreath, making a hole in the center.
  8. Place the wreaths on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Decorate each wreath with red candies to resemble holly berries and add white sprinkles if desired.
  10. Let the wreaths cool and firm up completely before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days with parchment paper between layers.
  • Refrigerate for up to 1 week if desired, though the wreaths may become firmer.
  • Freeze in an airtight container for up to 2 months and thaw at room temperature before serving.
  • Work quickly while the mixture is warm for easier shaping.
  • Lightly grease your hands to prevent sticking.
  • Customize with almond extract, white chocolate drizzle, or festive sprinkles.
