Festive Christmas Rice Krispies Treats made with gooey marshmallows, creamy white chocolate, and colorful holiday sprinkles. These easy no-bake treats are perfect for Christmas parties and holiday dessert trays.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cups mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup bakers white chocolate, chopped, plus more for topping
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 cups holiday rice krispies
  • ¼ cup red and green sprinkles, plus more for topping

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over low-medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the marshmallows 1 cup at a time, stirring until well combined and completely melted. Add the chopped white chocolate and stir constantly until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in the salt and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the rice krispies to a large mixing bowl. Slowly pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the cereal and stir until evenly coated. Gently mix in the red and green sprinkles.
  5. Line a 9×9-inch square dish with parchment paper. Press the mixture evenly and firmly into the dish. Drizzle with additional melted white chocolate and top with additional sprinkles.
  6. Place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or in the freezer for 10 minutes, until the chocolate is set.
  7. Slice into 16 equal-sized squares and serve.

Notes

  • Press the mixture firmly into the pan for treats that hold their shape when sliced.
  • For faster setting, place the treats in the freezer for 10 minutes instead of refrigerating for 30 minutes.
  • Store the treats in an airtight container to help keep them fresh and chewy.
