Soft and chewy cranberry bliss bars inspired by the Starbucks favorite, topped with creamy white chocolate frosting, dried cranberries, and a white chocolate drizzle.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped, for topping
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, melted, for drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray or parchment paper.
  2. Combine the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Mix in the eggs, vanilla extract, and orange extract.
  3. Add the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground ginger. Stir just until combined.
  4. Fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for about 18-22 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set. Allow to cool completely.
  6. Beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  7. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled bars and sprinkle with chopped dried cranberries.
  8. Drizzle melted white chocolate over the top. Allow the topping to set before slicing into bars or triangles and serving.

Notes

  • Do not overbake the bars; keeping the center soft helps create the signature chewy texture.
  • Cool the bars completely before adding the cream cheese frosting.
  • For clean slices, chill the frosted bars briefly before cutting.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator because of the cream cheese frosting.
