This creamy beef and shells pasta is a high-protein, nutritious take on comfort food. Made with lean ground beef, Greek yogurt, spinach, and whole wheat pasta, it’s perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or substitute with turkey, chicken, or sausage)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups pasta shells (or pasta of your choice)

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain the fat.
  • Add tomato paste, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and Italian seasoning. Stir in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
