Ingredients
2 Medjool dates (halved and pitted)
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon olive oil
pinch flaky sea salt
Instructions
Heat a small frying pan over medium-high heat and add the butter. Once melted and bubbling, add the dates cut side down. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until browned and caramelized.
Spread the Greek yogurt in a serving bowl and sprinkle with the ground cinnamon.
Top with the warm dates, drizzle with olive oil if desired, and finish with a pinch of flaky sea salt. Serve immediately.
Notes
The olive oil is optional but adds a savory contrast to the sweet dates.
For the best texture, serve the caramelized dates while they are still warm.
Full-fat or low-fat Greek yogurt can be used according to preference.
