Tender oven-baked ribs coated in a sweet and spicy glaze, perfect for a flavorful and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 pounds pork ribs
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Remove membrane from the back of the ribs and pat dry.
  3. Season ribs with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Place ribs on the baking sheet and cover tightly with foil.
  5. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
  6. In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
  7. Remove ribs from oven, uncover, and brush generously with sauce.
  8. Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and return ribs uncovered for 10–15 minutes until caramelized.
  9. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Adjust hot sauce to control spice level.
  • Use foil tightly to keep ribs moist during baking.
  • Broil for a few minutes at the end for extra caramelization.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
