This Easy Ravioli Bake layers tender cheese-filled ravioli with rich pasta sauce, melted mozzarella, and Parmesan for a comforting, cheesy Italian-inspired dinner. With just four main ingredients and minimal preparation, it’s an easy family-friendly meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 jar (25.5 oz) Muir Glen™ organic pasta sauce (any variety)
  • 1 package (25 to 27 1/2 oz) frozen cheese-filled ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Cooking spray, for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray the bottom and sides of a 13x9x2-inch rectangular baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Spread 3/4 cup of pasta sauce evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. Arrange half of the frozen cheese-filled ravioli in a single layer over the sauce. Top with half of the remaining pasta sauce and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, pasta sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, the sauce is bubbling, and the ravioli is hot in the center.
  7. Remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • No need to thaw the frozen ravioli before assembling the casserole.
  • Use your favorite marinara, tomato basil, or roasted garlic pasta sauce for different flavors.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle Italian seasoning, dried oregano, or fresh basil between the layers.
  • For a golden, lightly browned cheese topping, broil for 1 to 2 minutes at the end of baking, watching carefully.
  • Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before slicing to help the layers hold together.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days.
  • Reheat individual portions in the microwave or warm covered in the oven until heated through.
  • Serve with garlic bread, a green salad, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
