This easy remoulade sauce is a creamy, tangy, and slightly spicy condiment perfect for seafood, sandwiches, and fries. Made with mayo, mustard, capers, and spices, it’s a quick and flavorful addition to any meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (such as Louisiana or Tabasco)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp capers, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp pickles or relish, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • 1 tsp Creole seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Add chopped capers, pickles (or relish), and minced garlic. Stir well.
  • Mix in paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), and Creole seasoning.
  • Fold in fresh parsley and adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  • Serve with seafood, fries, po’boys, or as a dip!

Notes

  • If you like a smoother sauce, blend the ingredients in a food processor.
  • Adjust spice levels by adding more or less cayenne and hot sauce.
  • Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
