Ingredients
1 pound Brussel sprouts (ends trimmed and cut in half)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 cloves garlic (minced)
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
Salt and black pepper, to taste
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400ºF. In a large bowl, combine the Brussel sprouts, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Toss until well coated.
Spread the Brussel sprouts in an even layer on a baking sheet, arranging them cut-side down.
Bake for about 25 minutes, tossing once halfway through, until the Brussel sprouts are tender and golden brown with crispy edges.
Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
Notes
Arrange the sprouts cut-side down for the best caramelization and crispy edges.
Toss the sprouts halfway through roasting so they cook evenly.
For extra lemon flavor, add a small squeeze of fresh lemon juice just before serving.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
