These Halloween Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft, chewy treats packed with crushed Oreo cookies and chocolate chips. Perfect for festive gatherings, parties, or a fun seasonal dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 ¾ cups 345g all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup 226g unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • ¾ cup 150g packed brown sugar
  • ¾ cup 150g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups about 18 Oreo cookies crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup 170g semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the crushed Oreos and chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  7. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie and place onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Press a few extra Oreo chunks and chocolate chips on top of each dough ball for a festive look.
  9. Bake for 10–13 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers still look slightly soft.
  10. Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Store cooled cookies in an airtight container for several days.
  • For extra festive cookies, use Halloween-themed Oreo cookies or add seasonal decorations.
  • Do not overbake to keep the cookies soft and chewy.
