Ingredients
1 lb Flat Iron steak, thinly sliced against the grain
1/2 lb broccoli, cut into small florets
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 tsp fish sauce
1/4 cup coconut aminos
1 tsp fresh root ginger, peeled and grated
2 garlic cloves, chopped
Instructions
Thinly slice the flat iron steak against the grain.
Combine the steak with the coconut aminos, grated ginger, and chopped garlic in a bowl or resealable bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain well and pat dry.
Heat the coconut oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
Drain the beef, reserving the marinade, and stir-fry the beef for 1 to 3 minutes until browned.
Remove the beef from the pan and stir-fry the broccoli for about 3 minutes until crisp-tender.
Pour the reserved marinade over the broccoli and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Return the beef to the pan, stir in the fish sauce and toasted sesame oil, and cook until everything is heated through.
Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions if desired.
Do not overcook the beef to keep it tender.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Serve on its own or with cauliflower rice for a complete keto meal.
