Ingredients

  • 1 lb Flat Iron steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 1/2 lb broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp fresh root ginger, peeled and grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the flat iron steak against the grain.
  2. Combine the steak with the coconut aminos, grated ginger, and chopped garlic in a bowl or resealable bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  3. Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain well and pat dry.
  4. Heat the coconut oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Drain the beef, reserving the marinade, and stir-fry the beef for 1 to 3 minutes until browned.
  6. Remove the beef from the pan and stir-fry the broccoli for about 3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  7. Pour the reserved marinade over the broccoli and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Return the beef to the pan, stir in the fish sauce and toasted sesame oil, and cook until everything is heated through.
  9. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions if desired.
  • Do not overcook the beef to keep it tender.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Serve on its own or with cauliflower rice for a complete keto meal.
