Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • ½ cinnamon stick
  • 4 green cardamom pods, lightly crushed
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 2 slices fresh ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • 12 teaspoons maple syrup (optional, to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
  2. Add the black tea bags, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, ginger, and black peppercorns.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5–7 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  4. Stir in the oat milk and gently heat for another 2–3 minutes, avoiding boiling.
  5. Strain the mixture into a mug to remove the spices and tea bags.
  6. Sweeten with maple syrup to taste, if desired. Serve hot.
