Festive Oreo Balls combine creamy crushed Oreos with cream cheese, a smooth chocolate coating, colorful candy drizzle, and Christmas sprinkles. These easy no-bake treats are perfect for holiday parties, cookie trays, and gifting.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (1 pound 4 oz) Mint Oreo Cookies or 1 package (standard size – approximately 36 cookies) regular flavored Oreo Cookies
  • 1 block (8 oz) Cream Cheese, softened
  • Almond Bark – white and chocolate – start with 16 oz and melt 4 squares at a time, adding more as needed
  • Christmas Sprinkles
  • Red and Green Candy Melts

Instructions

  1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to a large bowl.
  3. Crush the Oreo cookies, including the centers, in a food processor until fine crumbs form. If you do not have a food processor, place the cookies in a resealable bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
  4. Add the Oreo crumbs to the bowl with the cream cheese.
  5. Stir the cream cheese and cookie crumbs together until thoroughly combined.
  6. Using a 2 tablespoon cookie dough scoop, portion the mixture into balls.
  7. Roll each portion between your hands until smooth.
  8. Arrange the Oreo balls on the prepared cookie sheet.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  10. Place 4 squares of almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute and stir. Continue heating in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval. Stop heating when only a few small pieces remain, then stir until completely melted.
  11. Using a fork, dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted almond bark and gently shake off the excess coating.
  12. Place the coated Oreo ball back onto the parchment-lined cookie sheet, using another fork or a knife to gently slide it off the fork.
  13. Add Christmas sprinkles immediately before the coating sets.
  14. Melt the red and green candy melts separately in microwave-safe bowls, then transfer them to small squeeze bottles.
  15. Begin squeezing the melted candy onto the parchment paper beside each Oreo ball, then continue the motion to create a decorative swirl over the top of the ball.
  16. Repeat with the second candy melt color, if desired.
  17. Allow the coating and decorations to set, then refrigerate the Oreo balls until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Mint Oreos give these treats an extra festive flavor, but regular Oreos work well too.
  • The amount of almond bark needed depends on how many Oreo balls you coat and whether you apply more than one coating. Start with 16 oz and melt 4 squares at a time.
  • Chilling the Oreo balls for longer than 30 minutes is fine and can make dipping easier.
  • Add sprinkles immediately after dipping each ball so they adhere before the coating sets.
  • Store the finished Oreo balls in the refrigerator until ready to serve. They can remain at room temperature for a few hours.
