A refreshing homemade peach lemonade made with fresh peaches, lemon juice, and simple syrup. This sweet and tangy summer drink is perfect for parties, barbecues, or cooling off on a hot day.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water (for simple syrup)
  • 34 cups cold water (to dilute)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh peach slices and lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 3/4 cup sugar and 1 cup water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. In a blender, puree the sliced peaches until smooth.
  3. Strain the peach puree through a fine mesh sieve if a smoother texture is desired.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine the peach puree, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and cooled simple syrup.
  5. Add 3–4 cups cold water and stir well. Adjust sweetness and dilution to taste.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh peach and lemon slices if desired.

Notes

  • For a smoother lemonade, strain both the peach puree and lemon juice.
  • Adjust sugar depending on the sweetness of the peaches.
  • Use sparkling water instead of still water for a fizzy version.
  • Store refrigerated for up to 3 days and stir before serving.
