  • 9 full-size Reese’s peanut butter cups

Instructions

  2. Spray an 8×8 inch baking pan with nonstick spray, then line with parchment paper and spray again.
  3. Beat together melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  4. Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  6. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and beat until fully combined.
  7. Spread half of the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Place peanut butter cups evenly over the batter in rows.
  9. Spread remaining batter over the top and smooth evenly.

  11. Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan.
  12. Lift brownies out using parchment paper and cut into 9 or 12 pieces.

Notes

  • Do not overbake; brownies will continue to set as they cool.
  • For cleaner cuts, chill brownies slightly before slicing.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • Serve warm with ice cream for an extra indulgent dessert.
