These adorable Reindeer Noses Rolo Pretzel Bites are the perfect sweet and salty Christmas treat! Made with crunchy pretzels, gooey caramel chocolates, and colorful M&M’s, they’re easy to make and perfect for holiday parties, cookie trays, and edible gifts.

Ingredients

  • 45 mini waffle pretzels
  • 45 dark chocolate salted caramel Rolos, unwrapped
  • 45 red and green peanut butter M&M’s

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the mini waffle pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking tray. Place one unwrapped Rolo chocolate on top of each pretzel.
  3. Transfer the baking tray to the preheated oven and bake for approximately 3 minutes, or until the Rolos look glossy and slightly softened but still hold their shape.
  4. Carefully remove the baking tray from the oven. Immediately press one red or green peanut butter M&M into the center of each softened Rolo, gently flattening the chocolate onto the pretzel.
  5. Allow the Reindeer Noses to cool completely at room temperature until the chocolate has firmed up. For faster setting, place the baking tray in the refrigerator for a few minutes.
  6. Once completely set, transfer the treats to a serving platter or airtight container and enjoy!

Notes

  • Do not overbake the Rolos. They should look shiny and softened but retain their original shape after approximately 3 minutes in the oven.
  • Work quickly when pressing the M&M’s into the warm chocolate, as the Rolos will begin to firm up as they cool.
  • Use red M&M’s for Rudolph-inspired reindeer noses and green M&M’s for a festive holiday color combination.
  • Regular Rolos can be substituted for dark chocolate salted caramel Rolos if preferred.
  • For a nut-free variation, use plain chocolate M&M’s instead of peanut butter M&M’s, and check all packaging for allergen warnings.
  • Refrigerate the finished treats for 5–10 minutes if you need the chocolate to set more quickly.
  • Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 1 week, or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
  • These bite-sized treats are perfect for Christmas dessert platters, holiday cookie exchanges, classroom celebrations, and homemade edible gifts.
