Ingredients
18 King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 to 1 1/4 pounds deli sliced roast beef
10 slices non-smoked provolone cheese
1/2 cup salted butter
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 1/2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Slice the rolls in half and place the bottom halves into a 9×13 baking dish, keeping them together. Set tops aside.
Spread mayonnaise evenly over the bottom rolls.
Layer roast beef evenly over the rolls, folding slices as needed.
Top with provolone cheese, then place the roll tops over the cheese and gently press down.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and stir in Dijon mustard, barbecue sauce, poppy seeds, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a brief boil, then remove from heat.
Pour the sauce evenly over the sliders, spreading if needed.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–10 minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
Notes
Use thinly sliced roast beef for easier layering and serving.
Swap provolone with Swiss or mozzarella if preferred.
These sliders can be assembled ahead and baked when ready.
Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
