Ingredients

  • For the Crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Cheesecake Filling:
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp espresso powder, dissolved in 2 tbsp hot water
  • For the Tiramisu Layer:
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
  • 1 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1/2 package ladyfingers (about 1518 cookies)
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  • Prepare the crust: Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan (9-inch) to form an even crust. Bake for 8-10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
  • Make the cheesecake filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, mascarpone cheese, and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and dissolved espresso powder. Mix until fully incorporated and smooth.
  • Assemble the cheesecake: Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is just set and slightly jiggles when shaken. Let cool at room temperature for an hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  • Tiramisu layer: In a shallow bowl, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using). Briefly dip the ladyfingers into the coffee mixture, one at a time, then layer them over the top of the chilled cheesecake.
  • Serve: Once the cheesecake is fully chilled, dust the top with cocoa powder using a fine sieve. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • Make sure the cheesecake is fully chilled before serving for the best texture.
  • You can use a mix of mascarpone and cream cheese for a smoother, more authentic tiramisu flavor.
