Ingredients
8 string cheese sticks
24 pretzel sticks
Fresh chives, as needed
Instructions
Cut each string cheese stick into thirds, approximately 1 1/2 inches each, making 24 pieces.
Make several lengthwise cuts around one end of each cheese piece, cutting about halfway up to create broom bristles.
Insert one pretzel stick into the uncut end of each cheese piece to form the broomstick handle.
Wrap a fresh chive around the top of the cheese bristles and gently tie it to secure the broom shape.
Trim any excess chive and arrange the broomstick snacks on a serving platter.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Use mozzarella string cheese for the best texture and appearance.
Choose thin pretzel sticks that fit easily into the cheese.
Fresh chives are flexible and work well for tying the broomsticks.
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free pretzel sticks.
Assemble shortly before serving to keep the pretzels crunchy.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
